After a week off, Dillon Welch returns to the track Wednesday at the Indianapolis Speedrome.
"I can't wait to get back on the track," Welch said. "It's all I think about when I'm away from it."
Welch and his Z-Line Designs/ClubSport Beast will be getting plenty of action with five races scheduled in the next three weeks.
"With such little experience in this car, it's important for me to be in the seat as much as possible so I'm looking forward to a busier few weeks," Welch said.
Action at the Speedrome begins with practice at 6pm, Heat races at 7pm and Features slated for approximately 8pm.
"The Speedrome is a great place to come watch racing," Welch said. "There's a lot of great racing history there, and I always have great support with family and friends coming out to the track."
Welch, who is second in the current points standings, scored his first Midget win at the Speedrome on May 26.
"That was a great night for me," the young racer said. "But that seems like a long time ago. I'm ready to win again!"
Following Wednesday's race at the Speedrome, the USAC Regional Midget Series will return to Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan on Saturday.
